    Description

This a really nice-looking B flat silver trombone.  Strong sound projection and good tone/intonation. The trombone is very old, probably 1930's or earlier.
The slide section attaches via a compression fitting without a locking nut.  This horn was made before slide locks were standard.  The horn was repaired, cleaned and all major dents removed.
Since the horn is very old, the slide is not perfect and compression is not strong.  Horn plays very well overall with the slide cream added.
    Note
that this horn requires a tenor trombone mouthpiece (not included). Plays best with a custom ground shank smaller than standard.  An alto trombone mouthpiece may also be used. Tone varies widely with mouthpiece cup design.  A smaller cup is better such as a Bach 12 or equivalent.  Bore size is small so a large cup defeats the physics of this horn.
The horn comes with a case and without a mouthpiece.
