For sale is handbuilt classical by Alan Harold Chapman - an accomplished and one-of-a-kind luthier based in Amherst, MA. This 806A model built in 2006 is based on one of five traditional designs by Hernandez y Aguado. It has a select cedar top, gorgeous Brazilian rosewood back and sides, mahogany neck, ebony fretboard, rosewood bridge, bone saddle, compensated bone nut. The tuners are high-grade Gilbert Traditional Black Ebony Tuners. There are minor cosmetic blemishes that can be seen in the photos (see the finish cracking on the sides, some small impressions on the top, one repaired top crack,etc.) but the guitar is playing like a dream at classical spec. Included is a high-quality Ameritage hardshell case.
