I'm looking for a few good collectors/investors!  Why?  Because I don't think it would take much to move the Morgan & Peace dollar rotated dies market.
For those of you who don't know me, I am co-author of the "Top 100 Morgan Dollar Varieties: The VAM Keys".  I also teach classes to both collectors and investors on Morgan silver dollars, and am a founding member of the Society of Silver Dollar Collectors (SSDC).  I am a member of the American Numismatic Association and have been a frequent speaker and lecturer on the national coin scene.
What I am providing here is knowledge...and "Knowledge is King"!  In my "Decade of Top 100 Insights" book which is packed full of hard to find information about rare die varieties, die clashing, and more is a chapter we fondly call "All About Rotates". These are silver dollars commonly known as rotated dies.  This chapter is a treasure trove of key information about collecting/investing in rotated dies dollars.
The important thing to know is that I estimate only about a few thousand rotated dies silver dollars likely exist out of about 500 million Morgan & Peace dollars minted.  There could be much less.  I know of several collectors who own more than 50 rotated dollars each, which makes a significant dent in the surviving population.  The remainder are individual coins in error collections, Morgan & Peace collections, and in dealers inventories.
If you search eBay, you are likely to see that about a dozen are available for purchase in the market at any given time.  That's a relatively small number of coins that is further diluted by date, grade, and degree of rotation.  Thus, there's a very limited supply of these coins!  As a whole, they are much RARER than the coveted 1893-S Morgan Dollar.
It wouldn't take but a few collectors or investors to absorb the available supply, consequently driving up the price for obtaining additional examples.  Further, throw a few hard core (50+) rotated die collectors/investors in the mix and you can see how demand can far outstrip supply (even in a slow market) which can further drive up prices for any new coins reaching the market.
Aside from supply and demand considerations, rotated dies Morgan & Peace Dollars offer a high "WOW" factor.   Just flipping one over makes it easy to see that its not normal.  Further, there's a limited number of dates and mint marks where some of these coins can be found.  And, some dates with rotated dies are quite RARE.  Some dates and mint marks have multiple VAM varieties, thus making some of them even RARER.  And some have extreme rotations making them even RARER.  And throw in various grades, and you can see how really RARE these coins can be.
I believe it will be quite rewarding for those who spend the time to learn about this interesting and fascinating coin market.  In the references I provide here, you can very quickly become an expert!
Also included with this offering is an actual example of a rotated silver dollar from my personal collection.  This is something you can look at, pick up and appreciate for many years.  I'm pretty sure it will elicit a "Wow" for you as it always does for me every time I pick one up.
Finally, I am offering Leroy Van Allen's "Rota Flip (TM)" and "Rotated Die Coin Measurements" booklet with Addendum.  The Rota Flip (TM) is the best way I've found to measure rotated die angles.  In my opinion, it's the best product in the numismatic marketplace for that purpose.  The booklet described information about the minting of rotated dies as well as U.S. Types, dates, denominations and mint marks that are known and various rotations seen.  Leroy Van Allan is co-author of "The Comprehensive Catalog and Encyclopedia of Morgan and Peace Dollars", and father of the VAM acronym ("V"an "A"llen-"M"allis).
Just so you know, I am looking to introduce about a dozen collectors/investors to this market.  That's about all the rotated dies dollars that I am prepared to part with to stimulate the market.  And, that's about all I think the market will need.
